Are you an experienced Logistics Operative looking for a new opportunity? Do you want to work for a growing company who offer flexibility? If so, we are looking for an enthusiastic Logistics Controller who is passionate about delivering great customer service.

About the Role

Joining our team as a Logistics Controller you will provide day-to-day administrative support. You will ensure that mandatory and legislative QHSE aspects of work are implemented at all times.

Daily you will be responsible for:

  • Booking in/out customer’s assets using EMS & Indysoft software
  • Be an integral part of the team managing the workflow to meet customer deadlines
  • Site pick up/drop off
  • Van runs to Derby as required, at least once a week
  • The safe & effective packing of assets for third party deliveries
  • Creating shipping notes on company database (Indysoft & EMS)
  • Arranging shipping to outside companies via courier
  • Run & examine weekly reports on outstanding items already shipped.

Requirements

  • Ideally 5 GCSE’s level 4 or higher or equivalent - essential to be numerate and literate
  • Good IT knowledge across key MS Office applications
  • Driving Licence
  • Friendly and customer focussed
  • Ability to work under own direction and monitor own workload
  • Good communication skills with a good command of spoken and written English
  • Attention to detail and organisation skills
