Are you an experienced Logistics Operative looking for a new opportunity? Do you want to work for a growing company who offer flexibility? If so, we are looking for an enthusiastic Logistics Controller who is passionate about delivering great customer service.
About the Role
Joining our team as a Logistics Controller you will provide day-to-day administrative support. You will ensure that mandatory and legislative QHSE aspects of work are implemented at all times.
Daily you will be responsible for:
- Booking in/out customer’s assets using EMS & Indysoft software
- Be an integral part of the team managing the workflow to meet customer deadlines
- Site pick up/drop off
- Van runs to Derby as required, at least once a week
- The safe & effective packing of assets for third party deliveries
- Creating shipping notes on company database (Indysoft & EMS)
- Arranging shipping to outside companies via courier
- Run & examine weekly reports on outstanding items already shipped.

Requirements
- Ideally 5 GCSE’s level 4 or higher or equivalent - essential to be numerate and literate
- Good IT knowledge across key MS Office applications
- Driving Licence
- Friendly and customer focussed
- Ability to work under own direction and monitor own workload
- Good communication skills with a good command of spoken and written English
- Attention to detail and organisation skills
