We are seeking highly motivated Calibration Engineer/Technician to join. our team,
Joining our team as a RF Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking various calibrations both ISO9001/17025 accredited in accordance with Company Procedures, UKAS regulations, recognised specifications, etc.
Calibrating measuring instrumentation to traceable and accredited standards.
About the Role What will you be responsible for
- Perform calibration of customer equipment using approved procedures and good Metrology practice.
- Ensure all certificates and records are completed accurately;
- Participate in UKAS and accreditation audits.
- Handling technical enquiries and liaising with clients where necessary.
- Produce, develop and audit automated and manual calibration procedures for use within the Laboratory for customer calibration.
- Develop measurement uncertainty budgets for customer calibrations.
- Provide technical support and mentoring to colleagues on request in line with capability.
- The ability to understand & interpret specifications/technical drawings will be advantageous.

Requirements
What you will bring to the team
- Have previous experience as an Calibration Engineer or related field in Electrical equipment.
- Inspection or calibration experience in the manufacturing, aerospace or automotive sector.
- Ideally technical qualification such as degree, HND or HNC.
- Good understanding of calibration practices and theories.
- Excellent knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017
