The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
The People Partner will act as a strategic and operational partner to the UK business, providing expert HR advice and delivering people initiatives aligned to Trescal's commercial objectives. The role supports multiple UK sites and plays a key role in talent management & development, employee relations, reward, organisational development and employee engagement. The HRBP will also support mergers and acquisitions activity, including integration, change management and cultural alignment, and will be accountable for the planning, delivery and cost management of employee engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Organisational Change, M&A and Operational Delivery: Support operational leaders in delivering organisational change aligned to business requirements, including restructures, role design and workforce optimisation.
- People & M&A: Provide HR support to mergers and acquisitions, ensuring smooth integration with minimal disruption to service delivery.
- People Risk & Compliance: Balance people risk, legal compliance and employee experience with commercial priorities during periods of change.
- Talent Development: Coach and develop managers to build strong people management capability, including performance management and creating a culture of continuous learning.
- Performance & Evaluation: Support the administration and ongoing effectiveness of the performance evaluation programme, ensuring consistency, compliance and fairness.
- Talent Management & Succession: Partner with managers on talent management and succession planning using HR systems and tools.
- Employee Relations: Manage complex and routine employee relations cases including sickness absence, performance management, disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Advice & Coaching: Coach and advise managers on handling employee relations issues and developing performance improvement plans.
- Employee Engagement: Own the end-to-end delivery of employee engagement initiatives, ensuring they support business priorities and operational outcomes.
- Engagement Budget: Manage engagement budgets, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and with measurable impact.
- Localisation: Partner with site and functional leaders to translate engagement plans into practical, locally delivered actions.
- Measurement: Measure the effectiveness of engagement activity and demonstrate impact on retention, absence, performance and productivity.
- Total Reward: Administer compensation and benefits processes, and participation in salary surveys.
- Salary Reviews: Support the HR Director with the annual salary review process.
- Projects & Development: Manage specific organisational change programmes, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- HR & M&A Activities: Support mergers and acquisitions activity, including HR due diligence support, TUPE and consultation processes (where applicable) and integration planning and delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and GDPR.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across UK sites.
- CIPD qualification.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions or business integrations.
