We are seeking highly motivated RF Calibration Engineers to join our team. As an RF Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking various calibrations in accordance with Company Procedures, UKAS regulations, and recognised specifications. Calibrating measuring instrumentation to traceable and accredited standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform calibration of customer equipment using approved procedures and good Metrology practice.
- Ensure all certificates and records are completed accurately.
- Participate in UKAS and accreditation audits.
- Handle technical enquiries and liaise with clients where necessary.
- Produce, develop and audit automated and manual calibration procedures for use within the Laboratory for customer calibration.
- Develop measurement uncertainty budgets for customer calibrations.
- Provide technical support and mentoring to colleagues on request in line with capability.
- The ability to understand and interpret specifications/technical drawings will be advantageous.
- Calibrate general-purpose RF equipment, including sensors, power meters, signal generators, counters, network analysers, etc.
Essential Skills
- Have previous experience as an RF Calibration Engineer.
- Inspection or calibration experience in the manufacturing, aerospace or automotive sector.
- Ideally technical qualification such as degree, HND or HNC.
- Good understanding of calibration practices and theories.
- Excellent knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
