We are looking for a dedicated and organised Warm Spaces Project Officer to lead the delivery of our Warm Spaces Programme, ensuring residents have access to warm, welcoming spaces, hot meals, community fridge provisions and opportunities to connect with others.
This is a rewarding role where you will play a vital part in addressing the impact of the cost‑of‑living crisis, reducing social isolation and supporting some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and develop our two-community café-based Warm Spaces on a day‑to‑day basis.
- Oversee operational activities.
- Manage staff and volunteers.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Ensure local residents receive a positive and welcoming experience.
Qualifications
- Experience of coordinating projects, services or community programmes.
- Experience of managing, supervising or supporting staff and volunteers.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
