This is a Temporary Role. The successful candidate will provide high quality administrative support to the Income Team to ensure effective rent and arrears collection. The role is key to supporting the efficient implementation of income procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Helping to maintain accurate rent accounts.
- Liaising with external agencies and customer representatives as necessary.
- Prepare standard letters, notices, rent statements and correspondence related to former tenant arrears.
- Handle routine tenant enquiries about balances, payment methods, and account queries by phone, email, or in writing.
- Assisting in the management of Direct Debit payments and returns.
- Contacting customers using a variety of methods in order to manage debt on rent accounts where necessary.
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in an administrative role.
- Proven ability in a customer facing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc).
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Ideally, previously worked in a debt recovery role.
