We are looking to recruit highly motivated Tenancy Sustainment Officer who is a team player, to support our Tenancy Sustainment Team to continue to deliver a first-class service to our tenants.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with tenants as a Tenancy Sustainment Officer who need a little extra support and encouragement to sustain their tenancies.
The successful applicant will work with the tenant to complete a person-centred support package.
They will liaise with external agencies to co-ordinate support, providing a single point of contact and monitoring progress.
We are looking for someone who is able to remain calm in challenging situations; has a positive outlook; be assertive yet empathetic and able to remain impartial when dealing with a range of sensitive issues within a home or family environment.
You will need excellent networking skills and the ability work independently.
A background in social care, homelessness or working within the social housing sector or similar is desirable, however a comprehensive training package will be provided.
A good knowledge of the welfare benefit system is essential.
A full driving licence and vehicle and an enhanced DBS check are essential for this post.
