We're looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team to support the production of accurate and timely financial information, including management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.

Responsibilities

  • Support the production of the monthly management accounts pack.
  • Prepare monthly budget holder reports.
  • Provide financial assistance and advice to budget holders.
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
  • Assist with statutory year-end accounts, and regulatory reporting.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and audit trails.
  • Collate monthly financial Key Performance Indicators.

Qualifications

  • AAT Part Qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a busy finance department.
  • Knowledge of budget setting, management account preparation, and forecasting processes.
  • An ability to prioritise workload, meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • Good attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
