We're looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team to support the production of accurate and timely financial information, including management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
Responsibilities
- Support the production of the monthly management accounts pack.
- Prepare monthly budget holder reports.
- Provide financial assistance and advice to budget holders.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Assist with statutory year-end accounts, and regulatory reporting.
- Maintain strong financial controls and audit trails.
- Collate monthly financial Key Performance Indicators.
Qualifications
- AAT Part Qualified or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a busy finance department.
- Knowledge of budget setting, management account preparation, and forecasting processes.
- An ability to prioritise workload, meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Good attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
