What You\βll Do:
- Inspire Young Minds: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity and support development in line with the EYFS framework.
- Champion Safeguarding: Be proactive in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and protection of every child in our care.
- Collaborate: Work closely with a supportive team, parents, and external professionals to meet the individual needs of each child.
- Celebrate Progress: Observe, record, and share children\βs developmental milestones using Tapestry, contributing to their learning journey.
- Build Relationships: Foster strong, respectful partnerships with families, creating a welcoming and trusting atmosphere.
- Lead with Care: Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and organisation throughout the nursery, ensuring a clean and secure environment.
- Grow Professionally: Take part in ongoing training, team meetings, and nursery events, continually developing your skills and knowledge.
- Flexibility is Key: We value adaptability and teamwork. As part of our dynamic EYFS provision, you may be expected to move across different age groups and rooms as needed. This ensures continuity of care, supports team collaboration, and gives you the opportunity to broaden your experience and make a difference wherever you\βre most needed.
Your Role Includes:
- Supporting children\βs independence and decision-making through play and daily routines.
- Creating a fun, inclusive space where children feel confident to explore and express themselves.
- Carrying out essential care routines including nappy changing, toileting, and mealtime support.
- Contributing to the nursery\βs daily rhythm, including setting up and tidying activities.
- Upholding confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Updating daily care diaries.
- Be involved in Parents Evening, Twilight Training Sessions and driving through all new initiatives.
