We are looking for an exceptional Repairs Manager who wants to make a difference and thrives in a challenging and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the operational management of Trent & Dove's In-house Repairs Team, with a focus on delivering an efficient, customer-centric, and value-for-money service, whilst also ensuring that performance targets and service standards are met.
The successful candidate will manage the In-house repairs trade team as well as a team of property surveyors. You will be responsible for monitoring performance across both teams whilst actively seeking ways to continuously improve the service we offer to our customers.
You will ideally:
- Be educated to a minimum of higher national certificate (HNC) in either a building or surveying related qualification
- Have proven ability in a similar role
- Have extensive knowledge of contract management and procurement, ideally within a social housing environment
- Have the ability to build good relations with contractors, colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders
- Have knowledge of preventing and managing disrepair claims
- Be able to demonstrate a strong leadership approach to inspire, lead, and motivate a team to achieve performance targets
