Many of our schools have already adopted the 4DWW, with others preparing to introduce it once fully staffed—making now a great time to join #teamOFG.

About the Role

You will support pupils to overcome barriers to learning, celebrate their successes, and make a positive difference to their education and personal development. Working alongside teachers, you will provide classroom support on a one-to-one and small group basis, help prepare learning resources, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment. You will:

  • Support pupils individually and in groups
  • Assist with lesson delivery and learning activities
  • Promote positive behaviour and a calm classroom environment
  • Prepare classroom resources and support school activities
  • Maintain records of pupil progress and behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapy staff, and pastoral teams
  • Supervise pupils during break and lunch times

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Calm, engaging, and resilient
  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • Motivated by seeing pupils achieve and grow
  • Open to learning new skills and approaches

Experience working with children in an SEN/ASC environment would be an advantage, but it’s not essential. If you bring excellent support skills, the right personal qualities, and a genuine passion for helping pupils reach their full potential, we’ll provide you with the training and development you need to succeed. These roles are also a fantastic fit for people with experience in customer-facing industries such as retail, hospitality, or leisure who are looking for a new career that’s both meaningful and rewarding.
