We are looking for an Internal Sales Representative to join our Customer Service Team in Wigan. This role is an extension to our Sales team and will have a dotted line into the Divisional Sales Director. Responsible for managing a database of existing clients to upsell/cross-sell our products ensuring customer retention, satisfaction and growth.

Duties Include:

  • Proactively contacting customers to secure sales, upsell and build first class relationships.
  • Managing and following up on warm inbound leads, contacting those potential customers who have expressed an interest in the company’s offering.
  • Proactive lead generation, cultivate cold leads through research and collaboration with the Regional Sales Managers and develop into warm, qualified leads. Disseminate to field sales representatives with defined actionable activity through Salesforce.com.
  • Contacting customer accounts that are stale or churning to generate interest and potential orders.
  • Collaborating with the Business Operations team on the Slow Moving and Obsolete materials to identify upselling opportunities.
  • CRM and Record Keeping, utilising the CRM software to log customer interactions, manage leads, and maintain accurate sales records.

Successful candidates will have the following:

  • Experience within Sales and Customer Service environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, SAP & Salesforce.
  • Construction background or an understanding of the construction industry is preferable but not essential.
