We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our experienced and highly supportive on-site SLT team. Our team has a strong values-based approach and an excellent reputation throughout the organisation and beyond.

Role Overview

In Speech and Language Therapy, you will work closely with educational, clinical and residential care colleagues across the School and College campus to meet the complex needs of our students, providing therapy within an MDT (multi-disciplinary team) model.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will take on responsibility for a caseload of children and young people with a range of complex physical, communication and eating and drinking needs, as appropriate to your experience.

Qualifications & Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist with children and young people with physical/neurological disabilities and associated complex communication and learning needs.
  • A strong commitment to MDT working and a flexible approach.
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation and negotiation skills.
  • Ideally, a post-graduate dysphagia qualification and experience of working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication systems.
