The predicted salary is between 25803 - 25803 £ per year.

£25,803 per annum, 39 hours per week, full year contract. Generous holiday entitlement of 27 days per year + bank holidays.

About us: Treloars is a charity which runs one of the UKs largest specialist education centres for young disabled people to live and learn. Through our school and college, we offer students the opportunity to fully take part in life and achieve their aspirations.

We are looking to recruit a reliable Porter to join our outstanding Estates team, ensuring the smooth running of the site by undertaking a wide range of tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing a responsive, flexible service to students, staff and visitors.
  • Following opening procedures at the start of each day.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries, and distributing goods and supplies around the site.
  • Room set ups for activities and classes, including moving furniture & equipment around site.
  • Swimming pool maintenance & cleaning.
  • Assisting with weekly fire alarm testing and checking emergency lighting.
  • Portable Appliance Testing.

About you:

The successful candidate should have experience of either Portering or Caretaking (or similar duties) along with the ability to carry out duties such as cleaning, repair/maintenance work, to work as a team or on their own initiative and be able to adapt and respond to a variety of tasks.
