Treloar’s is a charity that provides outstanding education, therapy and care to physically disabled young people, and empowers them to live more independent and fulfilling lives.
Medicines management technicians are an essential and highly valued part of our School and College. This is a new role in our growing team where you will be working with 3 other technicians, 2 trainees, 4 GPs and a large team of nurses. You will use your skills to transcribe medicines onto our electronic system, manage stock and storage, and share the responsibility for medicine audits across the 6 boarding houses and classrooms. While we do not have a dispensing pharmacy, we offer a dynamic and challenging role in a busy health centre which supports our students.
In order to apply for this role, you must be GPhC registered as a Pharmacy Technician alongside holding a BTEC or NVQ 3 in pharmaceutical sciences (or equivalent). You must also be comfortable with giving advice, problem solving and communicating with a wide range of people. A full training programme is provided.
