Treloar’s is a charity that provides outstanding education, therapy and care to physically disabled young people, and empowers them to live more independent and fulfilling lives.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Dietitian to join our busy in-house team of dietitians at our CQC and Ofsted Outstanding school and college. You will be working with students ranging from 5 to 25 years of age, with a wide range of disabilities and feeding needs. The successful candidate will be part of an established MDT, working with nurses, therapists, GPs and care staff, as well as working closely with community and NHS dietitians.

Dietetics work jointly with our in-house catering team to provide a suitable standard menu and a range of special diets. We support a variety of diets including enteral feeding, blended diet and texture and nutrient modification. Students and their families are at the centre of everything we do, and this role offers the unique opportunity to develop supportive, long-term relationships.

Requirements:

  • Experienced registered dietitian, ideally with a strong background of clinical experience including a relevant area of specialty (home enteral nutrition, paediatrics, neuro-disability, or similar).
  • Familiar with managing a demanding caseload, good at prioritising and have excellent communication skills.
