Trellix is a global company redefining the future of cybersecurity. The company’s comprehensive, open, and native cybersecurity platform helps organizations confronted by today’s most advanced threats gain confidence in the protection and resilience of their operations. Trellix, along with an extensive partner ecosystem, accelerates technology innovation through artificial intelligence, automation, and analytics to empower over 50,000 business and government customers with responsibly architected security.

Role Overview: Trellix is seeking a UK & Ireland - Strategic Named-Account Manager to lead and grow a portfolio of large, strategic named enterprise accounts across the region. In this role, you’ll take full commercial accountability for your accounts, driving new business growth, expanding existing footprints, and transforming legacy or shrinking relationships into high-value, multi-year partnerships. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives while leading cross-functional matrix teams to deliver consultative enterprise cybersecurity solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Governance: Develop and execute multi-year account strategies across a defined portfolio of strategic named enterprise accounts—mapping stakeholders, identifying whitespace, and positioning comprehensive security solutions.
  • Full Account Ownership: Take complete accountability for the customer scope, expanding beyond single-product sales to drive holistic cybersecurity transformation and cloud migration.
  • Proactive Pipeline Creation: Maintain a relentless new-business mindset, proactively hunting for new opportunities and use cases within named accounts rather than relying on inbound leads or established renewal cycles.
  • Account Transformation: Rebuild distressed, stale, or shrinking accounts into top-producing customers through consultative re-engagement and value-based selling.
  • Executive & C-Level Engagement: Build deep, trusted relationships with CISOs, CIOs, and Board-level executives, while establishing broad technical coverage across SecOps, IT infrastructure, architecture, and procurement teams.
  • Matrix Team Orchestration: Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals by orchestrating virtual internal teams—including Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Renewals, Professional Services, Channel, and Executive Sponsors.
  • New / Renew Alignment: Partner closely with renewals teams within a matrixed organization to protect existing recurring revenue, drive upsells during renewal windows, and ensure long-term customer retention.
  • Partner & Channel Strategy: Collaborate with strategic channel partners, Systems Integrators, and technology alliances to co-sell, create value, and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Rigorous Sales Discipline: Manage sales pipeline, opportunity stages, and weekly forecasting with high precision using MEDDPICC / MEDDIC frameworks and CRM management tools.

About You

  • Established Network: Possess an active, high-level network of senior security, technology, and business decision-makers across large enterprise accounts in the UK & Ireland.
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: Deep understanding of the enterprise cybersecurity landscape, threat vectors, and market trends, with the credibility to conduct high-level technical and business discussions with CISOs.
  • Target Industry Experience: Proven track record selling complex solutions into regulated enterprise environments, particularly within Financial Services, Critical Infrastructure, Telecommunications, and Public Sector organizations.
  • Account Expansion Track Record: Demonstrated success in converting existing customer relationships into meaningful cross-sell/upsell growth and securing multi-year enterprise agreements.
  • Sales Methodology Mastery: Practical execution in MEDDPICC (or comparable enterprise sales methodologies) for deal qualification, stakeholder alignment, and forecast accuracy.
  • Commercial & Regulatory Navigation: Strong command of complex enterprise procurement processes, compliance requirements, and regulatory environments affecting cloud and cybersecurity adoption.
  • Matrix Collaboration: Thrives in matrixed environments, with a track record of effectively managing the dual split of New Business and Renewal functions.
