About Skyhigh Security: Skyhigh Security is a dynamic, fast-paced, cloud company that is a leader in the security industry. Our mission is to protect the world’s data, and because of this, we live and breathe security. We value learning at our core, underpinned by openness and transparency. Skyhigh Security is more than a company; here, when you invest your career with us, we commit to investing in you. We embrace a hybrid work model, creating the flexibility and freedom you need from your work environment to reach your potential.

Role Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and customer-facing Solution Architect to join our EMEA Field Engineering team, based in the United Kingdom. This is a senior, dual-track role that blends deep technical expertise with strategic field enablement. You will operate at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and our Sales Engineering (SE) community — bridging the gap between cutting-edge innovation and real-world customer needs across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Role Focus:

  • 50% — Technical Depth: Cloud, Network & Data Security
    • You will serve as a recognised expert in security architecture, with a particular focus on Security Service Edge (SSE) and cloud-delivered security frameworks. Your technical responsibilities include:
    • Design and deliver compelling, hands-on proof-of-concept demos and technical use cases that showcase the capabilities of our platform across SSE, SASE, Web Proxy, ZTNA, CASB, and DLP scenarios.
    • Act as the primary technical feedback loop between the field and internal teams — systematically collecting, synthesising, and reporting customer and partner insights to Product Management and Engineering.
    • Collaborate closely with PM and Engineering to influence product roadmap priorities based on EMEA market signals, competitive dynamics, and customer pain points.
    • Keep the SE team current on new product innovations, feature releases, and roadmap developments — acting as a trusted internal technical advisor.
    • Provide expert support to SEs working on complex, multi-layered customer use cases involving cloud security architecture, network security policy, and data protection.
  • 50% — Enablement & Programmes: Workshops, Events & Community
    • You will design and run a structured technical enablement programme across the EMEA region, building capability within the SE team and driving deeper customer engagement. Your programme responsibilities include:
    • Build and own an EMEA Technical Enablement Programme, covering workshops, deep-dive technical sessions, and certification-style content for the SE team.
    • Develop and deliver in-depth technical workshops and use-case-driven training sessions for customers, partners, and internal teams.
    • Represent the company at regional and international industry events, conferences, roundtables, and executive briefings as a technical thought leader.
    • Design repeatable deep-dive use cases and solution playbooks that SEs can leverage to accelerate complex deals.
    • Partner with Marketing and Partner teams to ensure field content, demos, and messaging are technically accurate and differentiated.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Technical Expertise
    • Proven hands-on expertise in Security Service Edge (SSE) technologies — including ZTNA, SWG, CASB, DLP, and RBI — at an architect or expert level.
    • Deep knowledge of cloud security architecture across major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS security posture management.
    • Strong grounding in network security concepts: SD-WAN, SASE frameworks, firewalling, micro-segmentation, and identity-centric security.
    • Practical experience with data security — including data classification, DLP policy design, and regulatory compliance frameworks (GDPR, NIS2, ISO 27001).
    • Ability to build technical demos, write proof-of-concept configurations, and clearly articulate complex architectures to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Field & Enablement Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in a Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, or equivalent pre-sales/field engineering role.
    • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver structured training programmes, workshops, or enablement content at scale.
    • Track record of presenting at industry events, webinars, or customer roundtables.
    • Experience collecting and synthesising customer feedback and translating it into actionable product or roadmap input.
  • Interpersonal & Communication Skills
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English — capable of engaging C-level executives and hands-on engineers equally.
    • Ability to work autonomously in a geographically distributed team while maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration.
    • Strong project management and organisational skills — able to run multiple programmes and engagements simultaneously.

Good to Have:

  • Proficiency in one or more additional languages relevant to EMEA markets — Arabic, French, German, Italian, or Spanish are particularly valued.
  • Experience working across Middle East markets (Gulf, KSA, Egypt) with an understanding of regional regulatory and procurement norms.
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Controls, or NIST CSF.
  • Experience with developer tooling, API integrations, or scripting (Python, Bash) relevant to security automation.
  • Relevant certifications: CISSP, CCSP, vendor-specific SSE certifications (e.g. Zscaler ZCCA, Netskope NSE), or equivalent.

Travel Requirements: This role requires significant and regular travel across the EMEA region, including the Middle East. You should expect to travel up to 40–50% of your time for customer engagements, events, SE team sessions, and partner activities. A valid passport and flexibility to travel on short notice are essential.

What We Offer: A highly visible, senior role at the forefront of cloud and network security innovation. Close collaboration with Product and Engineering — your voice will directly shape the product roadmap. Opportunity to build and own a region-wide enablement programme from the ground up. Exposure to a diverse, fast-growing EMEA market including high-growth Middle East opportunities. Competitive compensation, benefits package, and a flexible, remote-first working culture based in the UK.

Company Benefits and Perks: We believe that the best solutions are developed by teams who embrace each other's unique experiences, skills, and abilities. We work hard to create a dynamic workforce where we encourage everyone to bring their authentic selves to work every day. We offer a variety of social programs, flexible work hours and family-friendly benefits to all of our employees.

Our Commitment to You: At Skyhigh Security, we are committed to creating a safe and trustworthy experience for our customers, employees, and candidates. Please be aware that fraudulent recruiting activity can occur through fake job postings or impersonated communications. Skyhigh Security conducts interviews through professional channels only and does not use text messages, instant messaging, or group chats for interviews. We will never request sensitive personal information—such as your date of birth, Social Security number, or national ID number—during the interview process. Skyhigh Security also does not require candidates to pay fees, purchase products or services, or process payments of any kind as part of the recruiting or hiring process. And Skyhigh Security will never keep any original work authorization documents that we may be required to review during the hiring process.
