We are currently seeking Investigations Lawyers to work with Axiom clients across a range of industries, supporting a broad range of corporate, employee, compliance, regulatory and misconduct investigations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct or support legally privileged investigations into matters including employee misconduct, whistleblowing, fraud, regulatory concerns, compliance breaches and other sensitive issues.
- Define investigation scope, review documentation, develop investigation plans, conduct interviews and manage evidence-gathering processes.
- Prepare clear investigation reports, summaries and recommendations, and advise on appropriate remedial actions and risk-mitigation measures.
- Work closely with HR, compliance, risk, senior management and external advisers to manage sensitive matters and deliver practical, business-focused advice.
Minimum Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer eligible to practise in the UK, with relevant investigations experience gained in-house, in private practice or within a regulatory, compliance or advisory environment.
- Experience supporting or leading investigations involving corporate, employee, conduct, regulatory, fraud, whistleblowing or compliance matters.
- Strong analytical, interviewing, drafting and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters appropriately.
- Qualified lawyer in the UK or an equivalent jurisdiction, or experienced investigations professional with strong corporate, employee, regulatory, compliance or fraud investigations experience.
