We are currently seeking an Intellectual Property Lawyer to work with various Axiom clients across all industries.
Responsibilities may include:
- Drafting, negotiating and advising on contracts involving intellectual property, including licenses, assignments, collaborations, settlements, confidentiality agreements, and relevant commercial contracts.
- Advising on intellectual property related elements of corporate transactions, including conducting due diligence and drafting and negotiating related documentation.
- Providing support on a range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters across a variety of sectors, which may include licensing, brand protection, copyrights, trademarks and patents.
- Supporting product & business development by mitigating third-party IP risks and defining IP strategies aligned with market goals.
Qualifications:
- Several years of post-qualification in-house legal experience (directly, or as a secondee).
- Openness to part-time or full-time roles.
- Good academic credentials and post-qualification experience.
- Strong commercial understanding, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Right to work in the UK and be eligible to practice as a lawyer in the UK.
