We are currently seeking Employment Lawyers for leading corporations in a variety of industries.
Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling on UK employment law, specialising in employee relations, intricate performance processes, exits, and settlement agreements.
- Offer strong international employment counseling experience, advising on risks and supporting HR with policies and training initiatives.
- Support procurement & commercial teams in the business; contracting with customers making sure personnel-related clauses are reviewed such as health and safety.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior level management, executives, and senior lawyers within the company in providing expert employment legal advice.
- Provide legal advice to key stakeholders on high profile individual terminations, terminations in high‑risk jurisdictions and on allegations of sexual harassment, bullying, and discrimination in coordination with business and HR.
- Draft bespoke employment/retention/transfer contracts for senior executive and critical positions, and regularly reviewing and updating employment contract templates in key countries.
Qualifications:
- Experience within employment law, either in‑house or supporting corporations through a law firm, including leading and advising on sensitive workplace investigations (such as grievances, disciplinary matters, whistleblowing complaints, misconduct, and senior employee issues).
- Opportunities available for candidates seeking part‑time or full‑time roles.
- Strong UK employment law experience, with exposure to international employment law matters.
- Demonstrated consistent good judgement, with strong attention to detail, superior written and verbal communication skills, and strong issue‑spotting ability; must be approachable and responsive.
- Strong interpersonal skills are crucial, as you will be expected to forge close working relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders.
- Qualified to practice as a lawyer in the UK.
