We are currently seeking Capital Markets Lawyers to work with Axiom clients across financial institutions, investment banks and other organisations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice on a range of capital markets matters, including debt, equity and equity-linked transactions, securities offerings, financings and listed-company matters.
  • Draft, review and negotiate capital-markets documentation, including offering documents, prospectuses, underwriting agreements, purchase agreements, engagement letters, disclosure materials and related transaction documents.
  • Support transactions throughout their lifecycle, including structuring, due diligence, disclosure, documentation, execution, closing and post-transaction requirements.
  • Work closely with legal teams, bankers, issuers, finance, compliance, business stakeholders and external counsel to manage risk and deliver transactions efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Qualified lawyer eligible to practise in the UK, or an equivalent overseas qualification with relevant UK capital-markets experience, and right to work in the UK.
  • Experience advising on one or more capital markets areas, including debt capital markets, equity capital markets, equity-linked products, securities offerings, listed-company matters or corporate finance.
  • Experience gained in private practice, in-house, on secondment or within an investment bank, financial institution, broker-dealer, issuer or other relevant financial-services environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness, drafting, negotiation, stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, pragmatic and business-focused advice in a fast-paced transactional environment.
