Location: GBR - Tewkesbury
Hourly Rate: £15.67 (£14.25 + 10% shift premium)
Shift Pattern:
- Week 1 - 6am-2pm Monday to Friday
- Week 2 - 2pm - 11:53pm Monday to Thursday
After a basic training period, you will be able to work with limited supervision in producing parts in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety and Quality procedures. You will carry out all operations as outlined on production paperwork, ensuring the machines are set correctly to comply with Company and Legislative Safety Laws, and the maximum output is achieved per machine cycle. You will also contribute towards the company’s goals of scrap reduction by eliminating waste and ensuring correct material and machine usage to achieve zero scrap.
Responsibilities:
- Locate materials and tooling
- Operate a limited number of machines
- Correctly use guards and safety switches for machinery
- Understand materials for product manufacture
- Identify and use the correct parts/machine for production
- Use sprays/solvents/cleaning agents correctly as applicable
- Manually handle tools and moulds correctly
- Carry out all operations as outlined in production paperwork
- Remain flexible to be transferred to other areas of production
- Perform all work activities in accordance with HSE requirements
- Maintain the work area(s) in compliance with company housekeeping standards
Required Experience:
Experience in a manufacturing environment is favourable but not essential.
