Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is a leading global supplier of polymer-based critical sealing solutions and components for general industry, automotive, and aerospace. We are one of three Business Areas within the Trelleborg Group and have about 6,000 employees worldwide.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Facilities Labourer to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities by carrying out a variety of manual labour tasks. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, have a strong work ethic, and be eager to contribute to a range of maintenance and repair activities across the property.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and general upkeep of the building and grounds.
• Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment for events, meetings, and other activities.
• Support the Facilities Manager in moving heavy items, furniture, and equipment when needed.
• Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks such as fixing leaks, replacing light bulbs, and performing basic plumbing or electrical work under supervision.
• Ensure the cleanliness of outdoor spaces, including mowing lawns, removing trash, and keeping walkways free from hazards.
• Operate basic tools and equipment, such as lawn mowers, power washers, and hand tools, safely and effectively.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials and supplies.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and materials, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Follow health and safety regulations, always ensuring safe working practices.
• Respond promptly to any emergency or urgent tasks that may arise.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to support facility-related projects.
• This role may involve working in a variety of environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors, and in varying weather (hot, cold, wet, etc.).
• Occasional evening or weekend work may be required, depending on the needs of the facility.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn at all times when required to ensure safety.

This position is based on-site at Cadley Hill. Trelleborg must ensure that anyone we’re looking to employ is legally allowed to work in the UK before their employment begins.
