The Finance Controller is a senior finance leadership role accountable for financial performance, governance, and control across the Product Area. It ensures accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and effective cash flow management. As a key partner to the Managing Director, you will provide financial insight to support strategic decision making, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance delivery.

Some of your activities may include:

  • Financial analysis and reporting

  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • People management and coordination of all these processes

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the PA’s revenues, liabilities, credit conditions, and other financial indicators to forecast its short, medium, and long-term cash flow position; evaluate and recommend investments, funding sources, and other financial instruments that will meet these cash flow needs.
  • Advise BU and/or BA management on financial matters and on the potential impact of current and future laws and regulations on the operation of the organization.
  • Provide technical expertise and advice on financial issues to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities.
  • Prepare the organization’s (monthly and annual) financial reports of PA by analyzing and combining the different PG results, and present findings and recommendations to the BU and/or BA management.
  • Ensure that all tax returns, tax declarations, and other required reports are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Select, and manage ongoing relationships with, external consultants and advisors (for example tax advisors, accounting firms) to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
  • Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop financial staff to ensure that the organization’s operational accounting activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws, and standards.
  • Manage and coordinate the PG finance teams.
  • Liaise with controllers of contract manufacturers where necessary.
  • Support the planned implementation of new ERP systems.
  • Improve financial project management process.
  • Be a strong business partner to the PA MD, being a sounding board for them on all operational issues.

Education & Experience:

  • BSc or BA degree in accounting, finance or similar field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a managerial responsible financial role.
  • Experienced in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas.
  • Experience with implementation of a new ERP system.
  • Visible expertise in the corporate world of finance.
  • Experience in working in an international environment.
