Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in Tewkesbury is looking for a Business Administrator to join our New Product Introduction (NPI) team. This is a commercially focused role where you will play a key part in supporting the business to win and maintain profitable business, working closely with engineering, manufacturing and commercial teams. You’ll be at the centre of the quotation process and new product activities, helping bring new opportunities into the business and ensuring they are delivered efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to develop both commercial and technical knowledge.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing and coordinating customer quotations, from initial request through to submission
- Analysing customer requirements from emails and internal systems
- Working with engineering and purchasing teams to ensure accurate and competitive quotes
- Supporting pricing activities, including maintaining price lists and calculators
- Tracking quotation activity and following up opportunities with internal stakeholders
- Supporting the introduction of new products, working alongside the NPI Project Manager
- Assisting with new product set-up, including bills of materials and tooling orders
- Identifying opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency within the business
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a similar commercial, administrative or customer-facing role (ideally within manufacturing)
- Comfortable working with data and systems, with strong Excel skills
- Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident communicator who can work across different teams
- Proactive, self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities
- Some technical understanding is beneficial, but not essential
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage
