Summary of the role

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for quantitively analysing airline, airframer and OEM as well as competitors globally to support strategic plan development, new business pipeline development, and regular reforecasting processes at a customer and part number level to support financial and operational planning.

The role will also focus on pricing development, execution and assessment across the Global Interiors business. The role will involve the development of relevant databases to contain key customer and competitor data.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will also provide support to the Interiors business across a wide range of operational and financial data and processes to ensure that data relative to the growth of the Interiors business is available to the Interiors leadership team.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Develop historic sales demand databases across the various Interiors businesses and ultimately an Interiors level view at customer, aircraft platform and product level (i.e. Tope 20 and Other).
• Develop a multi-year plan forecasting model for the Interiors business at customer, aircraft platform and product level using fleet data, sales history and bringing in probability assessed new business as well as pricing assumptions.
• Support the development of global pricing strategies and measurement and improvement thereof for the Interiors business.
• Create and maintain monthly reporting of both commercial and operational data/intelligence for the Interiors business such as revenue, revenue by customer, revenue by aircraft platform, OEM revenue v aftermarket revenue, OTD, selling price variance versus budget etc
• Support ad-hoc projects requiring data based / analytical support across the Interiors business such as operational improvement projects, geographic footprint expansion projects, manufacturing equipment purchase projects and day to day commercial/market/pricing support.

Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree (or higher) in mathematics or statistics

• Significant and proven experience in a customer/commercially focused business intelligence role
• Strong experience of working in the aerospace industry preferably the aftermarket
• Knowledge of industry databases such as Aviation Week and/or Cirium
• Experience of working with teams from multiple times zones (i.e. Asia Pacific and Americas)
