Key Responsibilities
- Manufacturing hand‑crafted components from raw steel tube and strip to precise specifications
 - Operating a range of industrial machinery including induction welders, hydraulic presses and steel slitting machines
 - Maintaining high standards of health and safety throughout all tasks
 - Performing quality control inspections using calibrated measuring equipment
 - Interpreting and following manufacturing works orders (MWOs) and technical drawings
 - Conducting basic machine inspections and routine maintenance
 - Managing stock control and maintaining excellent housekeeping standards
 - Collaborating with other departments and communicating effectively across all levels

 - Understanding of basic quality control procedures
 
Desirable
- Health & Safety certifications e.g., Manual Handling, COSHH
 - Experience working to production targets and KPIs
 - Previous involvement in continuous improvement or lean manufacturing initiatives
 - Team‑based work experience with good communication and collaboration skills
