We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our TSS Cadley Hill Department. As part of this dynamic team, you will contribute to the achievement of the TSS Site Maintenance Team. This role is required due to significant site growth. You will support requirements within the Cadley Hill site on both electrical and mechanical plant and equipment in accordance with specific industry regulations and standards to ensure optimum equipment availability and a safe manufacturing plant.
You will be required to work Core Days which consist of a flexi start time of 07:45 - 08:15, finishing at 16:30 - 17:15 (dependent on start time) Monday to Thursday. Then Friday 8am - 12:30 half day.
Your responsibilities:
- Undertake mechanical installations and maintenance of site and equipment in accordance with IEE Regulations.
- Ensure downtime is kept to a minimum by providing an active Preventative Maintenance Programme.
- Pro-active involvement in diagnosing breakdown problems and providing cost effective solutions.
- Advise and arrange for specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings, components, and critical spares.
- Ensure adherence to legislative and insurance requirements relating to equipment, services, and spares.
- Assist with the design and manufacturing requirements for the safe integration of new products and processes.
- Identify areas and contribute towards continuous improvement and development.
- Ensure compliance and adherence to all system requirements including Quality AS9100 standards, Health 18th edition desirable.
Qualifications:
- A minimum GCSE Grade C in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Experience in a maintenance engineering role, preferably in Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Aerospace industry.
- Full UK driving licence.
- IT skills to maintain and improve systems (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Analytical skillset to determine equipment diagnosis and correction.
- Good communication skillset to deal with suppliers, subcontractors, visitors and colleagues.
- Good organisational and administration skillset to maintain important HSE plant records and information.
- Capable of learning new information and flexible to adapt to new situations in short time periods.
- Great problem solving skills with an attention for detail.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and adhere to deadlines.
- Experience with Counterbalance FLT and MEWP preferred.
