We are looking for support within the Purchasing Team to help maintain departmental documentation, update logs for imported goods, prepare Excel reports on supplier spend and performance, manage purchase orders for stationery, workwear and consumables, and assist with cost analysis and other ad hoc tasks. This is a part-time role working a flexi-system.
The ideal candidate will be organised, accurate and confident working with data and documentation. They will have strong attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to manage several tasks at once. They should be comfortable using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. They should be able to follow processes carefully, and willing to support the Purchasing team with a positive, proactive attitude. They should be someone who enjoys working collaboratively and taking ownership of their work.

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Maintaining department’s documentations and records including supplier certification and insurance records.
- Maintaining log of imported goods.
- Populate (Excel) reports to monitor supplier spend and performance.
- Manage POs for stationery, workwear and consumables.
- Support the purchasing team in cost analysis and other projects as required.
Education & Experience
- GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or above, or equivalent Administration experience.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of basic financial documentation (PO, quotation, invoice).

Travel Requirements
- Based on site at Bridgwater.
- Maybe required to visit other sites within the UK.
- Must have proof of right to work in the UK.
- This role is part-time on site, but we do offer flexible working too.
