Senior Project Manager - Capital Markets

Overview

We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager as part of our Belfast team. You will work on a variety of projects supporting our Investment Banking clients from our Capital Markets Belfast Headquarters/client side as part of our Solution Delivery Centre.

Responsibilities

While the scope of each project may be different, your duties & responsibilities may include:

• Lead or participate in working groups, workshops and with stakeholders to understand business requirements, define project plans and manage timelines.
• Impart subject matter expertise by providing guidance, support and constructive challenge on business initiatives to ensure alignment with program strategy.
• Assist in ensuring that all target state tools, processes and controls are socialized effectively and are approved at or by the appropriate governance forum or level.
• Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives, including working closely with Risk Managers, Product Owners, Front Office, Product Control and Technology teams.
• Identify challenges and proactively seek to resolve or escalate risk and issues in a timely and well-articulated manner to the projects by engaging relevant stakeholders and PMs.
• Engage senior stakeholders continuously by escalating and resolving issues as they arise.
• Produce accurate and insightful project update materials and artifacts, tailoring to various forums and committees.
• Build strong relationships, adopting a joined up approach, to support the execution of programs.

Qualifications

• Strong educational background – Degree (Masters would be an advantage).
• 5+ years experience in a Project Management role within Financial Services.
• Advanced experience with Excel.
• Strong knowledge of global markets and products.
• Strong understanding of front office processes.
• Experience in project planning, scoping, RAID management, preparing presentation decks.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks across various timelines.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated independence, teamwork and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of seniority.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with good relationship building and engagement skills.
