THE ROLE
- As a Materials Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials for manufacturing operations.
- Forecasting and generating purchase orders to secure necessary materials.
- Maintaining the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system for data accuracy.
- Ensuring all materials meet strict quality and specification standards.
- Monitoring production volumes and supply chain performance.
- Implementing solutions to address supply chain challenges.
- Collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, clients, and stakeholders.
- Producing detailed reports to support the Purchasing and Materials Management team’s strategy.
YOU
- Education: Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Business Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong time management, communication, and organisational abilities.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in Material Management/Inventory ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on results.
- Ability to work flexibly to meet business needs.
- Certifications: MCIPS, APICS, or equivalent qualifications (or qualified by experience).
