THE ROLE As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will collaborate across Production, Manufacturing and Automation departments to deliver top-tier electrical and mechanical support. Performing electrical installations and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Conducting mechanical maintenance and installations, adhering to strict safety and isolation protocols. Managing general facility maintenance and driving service improvements by coordinating with contractors on various projects. Following a scheduled maintenance plan while remaining flexible to support daily Production and Moulding operations. Applying basic PLC programming knowledge to make minor adjustments to systems. Leading energy-saving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Maintaining automation equipment and resolving production system breakdowns through a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) schedule. YOU Qualifications: HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Certifications: Ideally qualified to the 18th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations. Experience: Knowledge or hands-on experience in small-scale building projects, such as plumbing, boiler, or heating systems.
