Trek Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our established manufacturing client for an exciting Customer Service & Sales Development Executive position. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious customer service professional looking to build a long-term career in sales within a progressive and supportive environment.

This blended role offers the perfect stepping stone into sales. You'll start in customer service, gaining in-depth product knowledge and building strong customer relationships, with a clear pathway to progress into a dedicated sales position as you develop.

You will handle a mix of inbound and outbound customer contact (B2B and B2C), resolve queries efficiently, process orders, and identify sales opportunities — all while receiving excellent training and support from an experienced team.

THE ROLE
  • Complete comprehensive training on products, ordering systems, and CRM processes
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls with trade customers and consumers
  • Resolve queries, disputes, proof of delivery, pricing, and delivery issues
  • Accurately process orders and arrange deliveries
  • Provide cover for the resolutions team and inbound sales line
  • Build lasting customer relationships and proactively spot opportunities for future sales growth

We're seeking a positive, tenacious, and customer-focused individual with:

  • Proven experience in inbound and outbound calling (B2B and B2C)
  • Previous customer service or sales experience in a fast-paced environment
  • A solutions-focused "can-do" attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and a professional, friendly approach
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organisational skills
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
