We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing company based in North Wales. Due to continued expansion of their high-volume production facility, they now require an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a skilled engineering team.
This is a genuinely hands-on role where your electrical expertise will directly impact production uptime and plant efficiency.
THE ROLE
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to keep equipment running at optimum performance and minimise unplanned downtime
- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, servicing and overhauls across a wide range of production and packaging machinery
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnose faults quickly and implement effective repairs
- Support continuous improvement projects and the installation/commissioning of new equipment
YOU
- Proven experience as an electrical maintenance technician in a process, production or FMCG manufacturing setting
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) qualification
- Minimum HNC / HND, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, control panels, motors, drives, PLC awareness advantageous
- Familiarity with planned preventative maintenance systems
Working Hours & Benefits
- Monday Friday (day shift)
- Paid overtime regularly available
- Occasional weekend work when required (paid at enhanced rates)
