We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and highly proficient Chinese Immersion Academy Coach / Facilitator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating an authentic Mandarin immersion environment for primary school children, guiding them through homework support, structured Chinese revision, and engaging topic‑based interactive activities. You will work closely with our curriculum team to deliver high‑quality, child‑centric language exposure, ensuring that every student—regardless of their initial proficiency level—feels supported and motivated to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Immersion Facilitation: Conduct daily sessions entirely in Mandarin to provide an authentic and comprehensive language immersion experience.
  • Curriculum Delivery & Support: Execute structured daily schedules, including homework support, standard Chinese revision (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), and interactive games.
  • Material Customization: Adapt and design supplementary learning materials (e.g., vocabulary handbooks, hanyu pinyin guides, and storyboards) tailored to different learning paces and specific student needs (including P1 level beginners or children with specialized learning needs).
  • Student Engagement & Care: Maintain a patient, empathetic, and encouraging classroom environment using positive behavior management strategies.
  • Progress Tracking & Collaboration: Collaborate closely with lead instructors and curriculum coordinators to review lesson plans, share feedback on student progress, and align on teaching strategies.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, or coaching children in an academic or enrichment setting (experience with early childhood or primary school levels is highly preferred). Familiarity with local school Chinese curricula is a major advantage.
  • Skills & Competencies: Native-Level Fluency: Exceptional verbal and written Mandarin proficiency, including a strong command of Hanyu Pinyin. Structured Routine Management: Proven ability to manage a classroom schedule effectively, keeping students engaged and on track. Child-Centric Guidance: A patient and empathetic approach to managing student behavior and supporting diverse learning needs. Resourcefulness: Strong organizational skills with the ability to create engaging worksheets, interactive activities, and visual learning aids. Availability: Weekdays for local school terms (Mon‑Fri, except PH) from 1.30-6.30pm.
