Join our team as a Nursery Practitioner and play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
We are looking for full-time or part-time staff to work between the hours of 6.30am - 6.30pm on a shift pattern between Monday - Friday. Days and hours can be discussed further at interview stage. (We can stay open until 10pm if requested.) We are also looking for school drivers who would be interested in working 11am-4pm or something similar to those hours to transport children back and forth to school.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to meet the individual needs of children.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and learning activities.
- Collaborate with team members to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
Nice to have skills:
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting would be desirable but full training can be provided.
- A relevant childcare qualification Level 2 or Level 3 would be desirable.
- If you don't hold a qualification then we would need you to work towards one which can be done in house with our training provider.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Full clean driving license to aid with transporting children back and forth to school.
