We are currently recruiting for a Experienced Traffic Management Operative

Experienced Traffic Management Operative

Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £27,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

We are excited to have an opportunity to join our company as a Traffic Management Operative based at our Wimborne Depot.

Upton Specialised Tree Services Ltd is a long-established company working on a range of commercial and domestic projects for Local authority, National building developers, MOD, Conservation organisations and the general public. We pride ourselves on our fleet of up-to-date machinery and purpose-built yard both of which make Upton Specialised Tree Services leaders in our field.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience within traffic management along with good attention to detail, initiative to resolve issues and strong communication skills. Your duties will include overseeing sites and staff on sites, including installation, operation and removal.

Due to the nature of the Traffic Management business, the role requires physical activity, so the ability to perform in this aspect is essential. In addition, with the reactive nature of the business, the role requires flexibility and adaptability.

You will:

  • Provide a variety of traffic management services.
  • Ensure safety is paramount for the public and colleagues.
  • Be prepared to load and unload vans and take responsibility for the vehicle.
  • Be able to complete required paperwork for each job.
  • Be prepared to help with yard duties and general housekeeping as needed.
  • Be a problem solver willing; to get stuck in and ensure jobs go well.

Experience:

Traffic Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
  • M1/M2 Traffic Management Ticket (preferred)
  • M5 Traffic Management Ticket (preferred)
  • TTMBC (preferred)
