What you’ll be doing.
- Welcoming customers and taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Creating a warm atmosphere through friendly, genuine conversation.
- Managing queues and keeping service flowing during busy periods.
- Making recommendations and identifying appropriate opportunities to upsell.
- Packing and checking food orders.
- Communicating with the barista and wider team to ensure smooth service.
- Handling customer questions and resolving issues professionally.
- Supporting day-to-day café operations, including opening and closing duties.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and customer service.
What we’re looking for.
You’ll be someone who is**positive, approachable and comfortable talking to people**, while remaining calm and organised when the shop gets busy.. Previous café, hospitality or supervisory experience is desirable. A general understanding of specialty coffee is beneficial, but we’re happy to support further learning and development.. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in great hospitality, works well as part of a team and enjoys making customers feel genuinely welcome.
