They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales to lead their sales organization, drive revenue growth, and execute on the go-to-market strategy. This is a critical role reporting directly to the COO & Co-Founder, collaborating closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success.
Job Description
The ideal candidate is a proven VP of Sales with a strong track record in scaling sales teams at Series A, Series B or Series C companies, ideally from $15Mβ$50M+ ARR. This high-impact leadership role is for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, loves building strong systems and teams, and is excited to shape the future of a company in high-growth mode. Youβll oversee a team of Account Executives and Account Managers. If you\’re motivated by developing people, coaching complex deals, and partnering across functions to drive company-wide growth, this could be your next big opportunity!
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a scalable sales strategy aligned with aggressive growth targets, focusing on strong new business revenue targets and customer expansion. Refine and manage a B2B sales process (cycle: 45β90 days).
- Team Development: Lead, coach and develop the current team of 18 sellers & managers, while expanding and hiring SDRs, AEs, and RevOps team members as needed.
- Revenue Growth: Drive pipeline generation, improve conversion rates, and ensure predictable revenue outcomes through effective forecasting and performance management. Own and exceed new business revenue targets. Support strategic sales cycles, attend key customer calls, mentor team members, and lead by example through complex sales cycles. Use value-based selling to close deals ranging from $25Kβ$100K+ annually, with experience closing enterprise deals up to $500K ARR. Balance high-velocity deals with strategic enterprise wins.
- Drive results through Data: Set clear goals, track performance, and build structured systems to support a healthy sales funnel and reliable forecasting. Ensure CRM discipline (Salesforce, HubSpot)
Requirements
- 10+ years of sales experience with 5+ years of leadership experience; Ideal candidates will have sold sales and/or marketing solutions/services/software
- Proven success scaling teams at Series A-C companies, specifically leading teams through $15Mβ$50M+ revenue scale.
- A solutions-focused mindset, ready to work across teams to tackle challenges and seize opportunities. Player/Coach mentality.
Location: Candidates can be located anywhere within the US, with a preference for candidates based in Boston, MA (Hybrid), New York, NY (Remote), San Francisco, CA (Remote) or Seattle, WA (Remote). Candidates must be comfortable traveling as needed (approx. 25%)
