Are you a passionate early years leader who wants to make a real difference in a setting that genuinely cares about children, families and the people who work there? If so, we would love to hear from you.
At Treehouse Nursery Schools, our mission is simple: nurturing global citizens. We are an Ofsted‑regulated multi‑site provider with settings across Redbridge and Essex.
We believe the first five years of a child's life are the most important. The relationships, experiences and environments we create in those early years shape everything that follows. That is why we take inclusion seriously, not as a policy requirement but as a fundamental part of who we are. Every child who comes through our doors deserves to feel seen, valued and supported, regardless of their background, ability or starting point. At Treehouse, inclusion is not an add‑on. It is at the heart of everything we do.
We have built a strong reputation in Wanstead for 35 years. Our full‑day care nurseries in the area are well established and deeply valued by the families and communities we serve. Wondergarten is our way of giving something back. It is a term‑time setting designed to reach children and families who might not otherwise access high‑quality early years provision, and it is supported by the same experienced leadership team that has taken our settings to Outstanding and Good with Ofsted. You will not be stepping into this role alone. You will have the backing of a leadership team who are the experts in early years.
What you will be doing
You will take full responsibility for the day‑to‑day leadership of Wondergarten. That means leading and developing your team, driving high‑quality practice rooted in the EYFS framework, building strong relationships with the families we serve, and ensuring the setting is always inspection ready.
It is a role for someone who is highly passionate to lead a small setting and see it grow.
What we are looking for
You will hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification as a minimum, with a Level 5 or above desirable. You will have proven experience in an early years leadership role and a thorough working knowledge of the EYFS. You will have either led or supported an Ofsted inspection and know what it takes to maintain a high quality setting day in, day out.
You will understand that inclusive practice is not a specialism reserved for SEND leads. It is the responsibility of every practitioner and every leader. You will bring that understanding into everything you do, from how you build your team to how you engage with families.
