We are currently looking for a Restaurant Floor Manager to join our unique one of the most popular properties in central London, Treehouse Hotel London. You will support the General Manager of our unique vibrant Restaurant in leading daily operations, managing the team, delivering excellent guest experiences, and driving sales in a fast-paced, premium hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in high-volume bars or restaurants, a hands-on approach, and a passion for great service, cocktails, events, and team development.

About the Role:

The Floor Manager will work closely with the restaurant General Manager to ensure smooth operations, excellent guest experience including service recovery (when required), strong team performance, and consistent delivery of service standards. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage both service and business priorities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant team, always ensuring the smooth and professional delivery of service and be a hands-on Leader involving being on your feet, so you’ll bring a positive attitude and the stamina to support our fast-paced environment. As the Floor Manager you will be responsible for the general work, composure, and actions of all venue staff to support the leadership team across the venue. They train and coach the team in a systematic and professional way to consistently achieve service standards and product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed.
  • Consistently offering professional, friendly, and engaging service.
  • Make sure that waiters opening / closing duty are done.
  • Delegating tasks and supporting staff and managers.
  • Actively participating in daily briefing.
  • Setting up and closing front and back of house areas each day to brand standards.
  • Dealing with complaints or problems with a positive attitude.
  • Coaching and developing new and existing team members, setting goals and delivering feedback and training.
  • Conduct daily team briefings, training sessions, and motivational activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all brand, health, safety, and hygiene standards including audit readiness.
  • Promote guest engagement through visible leadership and tailored service.
  • Keeping kitchen staff informed and up to date about special events.
  • Following all health and safety and food hygiene laws.
