Grow with Treefera. We are a first‑mile intelligence platform, delivering granular visibility into the point of origin in global ag & soft commodity supply chains - where risk, cost, performance and exposure are set. You’ll join a global, cross‑functional team that values rigour, curiosity and working close to real‑world challenges. Whether your focus is AI, climate, product or operations, you’ll have space to contribute meaningfully and make an impact from day one. If you’re excited by complex problems and want to help reshape how nature is valued in real‑world decision‑making, we’d love to hear from you.
What the job involves:
- Partner closely with the Head of Product to define roadmap priorities, shape product vision, and translate strategy into structured, executable plans.
- Lead product initiatives autonomously from scoping through to launch and iteration.
- Act as a central coordination point across scientists, engineers, data teams, operations, and Go‑to‑Market stakeholders to ensure aligned, timely delivery.
- Think holistically about operational impact - ensuring appropriate support across data, systems, and internal processes ahead of launches.
- Write and maintain clear, structured scoping documents and user stories that define intent, priorities, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.
- Run product ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) to maintain momentum, clarity, and accountability.
- Maintain strong feedback loops with internal and external stakeholders to refine direction and drive product–market fit.
- Proactively identify risks, surface trade‑offs, and maintain visibility across interconnected workstreams.
- Use AI‑enabled workflows and modern tooling to improve speed, quality, and clarity of product delivery.
- Champion a culture of ownership, clarity, coordination, and continuous improvement.
This is a hybrid role with travel to the London office on average 1‑2 times a week.
Who you are:
We're looking for a highly organised, strategically minded Product Manager to help define and operationalise our product roadmap, and drive the delivery and evolution of our Risk Intelligence product line. You'll work closely with the Head of Product to shape direction, drive strategy, and ensure exceptional execution across cross‑functional teams. You are both a strong operator and an independent thinker. You're comfortable leading initiatives autonomously - defining vision, structuring execution plans, and driving alignment across the business. You bring clarity in ambiguity, think holistically about the impact of product decisions across teams, and proactively ensure the right operational and stakeholder support is in place.
You see communication as a core product skill. You're exceptional at connecting technical and commercial perspectives, aligning diverse stakeholders, and ensuring everyone understands not just what is being built, but why. You are genuinely comfortable with numbers, data, and scientific reasoning. Whether it's interrogating a methodology, pressure‑testing an analytical output, or engaging credibly with scientists and data teams, you don't shy away from complexity - you engage with it. A background in science, mathematics, finance, or another numerate discipline means you bring a rigour and curiosity to product decisions that goes beyond the surface.
You are deeply curious about product–market fit, constantly seeking feedback, validating assumptions, and refining direction based on real‑world signals. You actively leverage modern AI tooling to accelerate research, scoping, documentation, and delivery cycles - always looking for smarter, faster ways to improve product outcomes. This role suits someone who combines strategic thinking with disciplined execution - someone who can lead, coordinate, and deliver with momentum.
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ years of experience in product management or a similar role, ideally within tech/data environments.
- Proven ability to work autonomously - defining product direction, structuring initiatives, and driving delivery with minimal oversight.
- Strong strategic instincts and the confidence to contribute thought leadership around roadmap priorities and product evolution.
- Quantitative fluency - comfortable with numbers, data, and scientific or analytical reasoning.
- Demonstrated strength in cross‑functional coordination and managing complex stakeholder environments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - able to translate across technical, commercial, and external audiences with clarity.
- Strong organisational capability - able to manage multiple initiatives, dependencies, and timelines simultaneously.
- Experience writing clear, structured product documentation (e.g., stakeholder‑ready specs, detailed user stories, scoped initiatives).
- Analytical mindset with experience testing hypotheses, interpreting data, and iterating based on feedback.
- Experience working within Agile teams and using tools like JIRA, Productboard, or similar.
- Comfort working closely with technical teams, even if you’re not writing code.
- Active use of AI tools to accelerate product discovery, documentation, analysis, and delivery workflows.
- A deep curiosity about product–market fit and a bias toward continuous iteration and feedback‑driven improvement.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in Financial Services, Supply Chains or Environmental Sciences.
- Academic or professional background in science, mathematics, finance, or a similarly numerate discipline.
What you’ll gain at Treefera:
- Build something that matters - join a high‑growth climate‑tech company applying AI, satellite data and quantitative modelling to real‑world challenges across global supply chains, commodities and carbon.
- Work on complex, meaningful problems - develop systems that balance risk, resilience, compliance and sustainability, giving organisations a genuine information advantage at global scale.
- Collaborate with exceptional people - work alongside scientists, engineers and operators who are leaders in their fields, combining academic rigour with practical, cross‑functional product delivery.
- Ship and grow in a high‑trust environment - experiment, iterate and take thoughtful risks in a team that values autonomy, creativity and continuous learning.
- Develop your craft - dedicated space and time to grow your skills toward mastery, tackling technically demanding challenges that push the boundaries of applied AI and environmental data.
- Be rewarded for your impact - competitive compensation, equity options, meaningful benefits, and the opportunity to help shape the future of AI‑powered risk and environmental intelligence.
