We are looking for a curious, driven Commercial Finance Analyst to join Treatwell's growing Commercial Finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone earlier in their career who wants to do more than just report numbers — you will be deep in the analysis, helping to shape real business decisions and seeing the direct impact of your work on one of Europe's leading beauty marketplace platforms.
You will work closely with the Head of Commercial Finance and the broader Commercial Finance team, with direct exposure to the CFO and senior stakeholders across the business. If you are the kind of person who asks 'why?' before they accept a number, who finds a messy dataset more interesting than intimidating, and who wants their work to genuinely matter — this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Analysis & Insight
- Build and maintain financial models to support business decision-making, from unit economics to scenario analysis and initiative-level business cases.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis into commercial performance, helping the team understand not just what is happening, but why — and what to do about it.
- Support the preparation of performance reporting, surfacing the key stories behind the numbers.
- Work with large datasets across multiple markets and product lines, developing a strong command of Treatwell's core commercial metrics.
- Business Partnership
- Support senior members of the Commercial Finance team in their partnership with business leads across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Regional operations.
- Help prepare materials for senior stakeholder meetings, including the CFO and wider leadership team, translating complex analysis into clear, actionable narratives.
- Contribute to the build and upkeep of financial tools and dashboards that empower teams to make data-driven decisions independently.
- Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Support annual budgeting and reforecasting cycles, working alongside the broader Finance team to build robust, well-evidenced financial plans.
- Help track performance against plan, flagging risks and opportunities early and recommending mitigating actions.
- Ways of Working
- Bring structure and intellectual rigour to ambiguous problems — we tackle things that have not been fully defined before.
- Use the Google Suite and AI tools as force multipliers — we are a team that embraces smart working and is always looking for better ways to get to the answer.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, sharing what you learn and helping raise the standard of analysis across the team.
About you
- Mindset — this is what matters most
- Genuine curiosity: you are not satisfied with surface-level answers and you actively seek out the 'so what' behind every analysis.
- Drive and ownership: you take pride in your work, hold yourself to a high bar, and see things through without needing to be chased.
- Collaborative spirit: you are a strong team player who shares knowledge freely and enjoys working through problems with others.
- Bias for action: you are pragmatic and delivery-oriented — you produce great work without letting the perfect be the enemy of the good.
- Experience & Skills
- Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or actively studying — we care more about trajectory and mindset than where you are in your exams.
- 1–3 years of experience in a finance, commercial analysis, or strategy role (industry or practice background both considered).
- Comfortable building financial models and working with large datasets — strong skills in Google Sheets and/or Excel are essential.
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. Claude) and a practical sense of how to use them to enhance analytical output.
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) — we live in these tools day to day.
- Strong communication skills — you can write clearly, present with confidence, and adapt your style depending on your audience.
- Exposure to BI or data visualisation tools (e.g. Looker) is a plus but not required.
- Experience in a marketplace, SaaS, e-commerce, or high-growth tech environment is advantageous but not essential.
We’ll treat you with:
- Real impact from day one — the analysis you produce will directly inform decisions made at senior level.
- A brilliant environment to develop — you will be stretched, supported, and given real ownership of meaningful work.
- Exposure across the business — you will work alongside and present to the CFO and senior leadership as part of your day-to-day role.
- A team that invests in you — we are committed to your professional development and exam progression.
- A fast-moving, mission-driven company — Treatwell is transforming the beauty industry across Europe, and Commercial Finance is central to how we get there.
- 28-days holiday, plus...
