Job title: Inside Sales Executive

Reporting to: Inside Sales Team Manager

Location: Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk (Hybrid working opportunities available)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The Opportunity

You will be identifying opportunities to sell Treatt’s ingredient solutions to key customers in our existing portfolio. You will be expected to develop opportunities to upsell, enhance the profitability of the sale, and develop the future sales relationship. You will be part of a fast paced and agile pricing team collaborating closely with, and supporting, the commercial function. Customer service is centric to this position, together with exceptional communication skills and ability to interrogate data (Excel) and utilise systems (JDE/CRM Salesforce).

What you’ll be doing

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

Identify ways to increase revenue & margin on existing business, using techniques such as upselling, value engineering, and diversification of product offering

Quoting & sampling customers promptly and following up in timely manner to ensure optimum conversion rate

Establishing & adjusting selling prices by monitoring costs, competition and supply & demand

Lead qualification and development to widen our customer base

Coordinating the involvement of personnel from other departments including category management, technical, applications, planning, procurement & customer care to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations

Communicating internally any suggestions or requirements aimed at improving revenue & contribution

Planning & attending sales meetings, either virtually or in person, and trade shows (as and when required), submitting timely visit reports

Maintaining accurate and complete data in company’s ERP/CRM system (JDE/Salesforce)

Interrogate data in (Excel)

What we are looking for

GCSE grades A-C or a vocational qualification or Associates degree

Previous experience of working successfully in a sales environment (preferably B2B).
