The Opportunity
You will be identifying opportunities to sell Treatt’s ingredient solutions to key customers in our existing portfolio, upselling, enhancing profitability, and developing future sales relationships. This role collaborates closely with the commercial function, supporting a fast‑paced and agile pricing team. Outstanding customer service, excellent communication skills and proficiency in data analysis (Excel) and systems (JDE/CRM Salesforce) are required.
What you’ll be doing
- Identify ways to increase revenue & margin on existing business by upselling, value engineering, and diversifying product offerings.
- Quote and sample customers promptly, and follow up to ensure optimum conversion rates.
- Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply & demand.
- Lead qualification and development to widen the customer base.
- Coordinate the involvement of personnel from other departments (category management, technical, applications, planning, procurement & customer care) to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
- Communicate internally any suggestions or requirements aimed at improving revenue & contribution.
- Plan and attend sales meetings, virtually or in person, and trade shows (as required), submitting timely visit reports.
- Maintain accurate and complete data in the company’s ERP/CRM system (JDE/Salesforce).
- Interrogate data in Excel.
