We are seeking a passionate and professional Spa Therapist to join our talented Spa team and help deliver exceptional wellness experiences for our guests and members.
The Role
As a Spa Therapist, you will provide a range of luxury treatments while delivering outstanding levels of care, attention and a personalised service. You will play a key role in creating memorable spa experiences by understanding individual guest needs, recommending suitable treatments and products, and ensuring the highest standards of professionalism throughout every guest interaction. You will be responsible for maintaining treatment room presentation standards, adhering to operational procedures and supporting the wider Spa team in delivering an exceptional wellness journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience & Treatment Delivery
- Deliver a range of professional spa treatments, including massages, facials, manicures, and pedicures to the highest standards.
- Provide personalised consultations and recommend treatments tailored to individual guest needs.
- Deliver exceptional guest care and ensure every guest feels welcomed, relaxed and valued.
- Anticipate guest requirements and exceed expectations wherever possible.
- Provide expert after‑care advice and product recommendations following treatments.
- Maintain treatment room presentation standards and ensure all areas are prepared for guest arrival.
- Retail & Business Performance
- Promote and upsell spa treatments, retail products and wider estate experiences where appropriate.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge and remain informed about current spa offerings and estate activities.
- Assist in achieving departmental targets through effective treatment and retail recommendations.
- Minimise product and resource wastage within the department.
- Support with guest enquiries and bookings when required.
- Teamwork & Collaboration
- Work closely with colleagues across the Spa and wider estate to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Participate actively in team meetings, briefings and training sessions.
- Support colleagues during busy periods and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability and respect in all interactions.
- Undertake additional duties as reasonably requested by management.

- Continually develop treatment techniques, professional skills and product knowledge.
- Ensure relaxation and treatment areas are maintained to the highest standards throughout the day.
- Report for duty on time, in the correct uniform and maintain Swinton Estate grooming standards at all times.
- Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure health consultation forms are completed accurately and stored in accordance with GDPR requirements.
- Adhere to all product usage guidelines and treatment protocols.
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness and safety throughout the Spa.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and attend mandatory training when required.
- Report hazards, defects or maintenance concerns promptly.
- Maintain strict guest confidentiality and comply with GDPR regulations.
- Follow all emergency and fire safety procedures.
- Work safely and responsibly to protect guests, colleagues and yourself.
About You
- Holds a recognised Beauty Therapy or Spa Therapy qualification.
- Has previous experience delivering professional spa treatments within a luxury spa, hotel or wellness environment.
- Is passionate about wellness, holistic therapies and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is confident recommending treatments and retail products.
- Takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and presentation.
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
