We are currently recruiting for an experienced and highly motivated HGV Technician to join our thriving business. This role, which is based in our site at Grantham, will offer the successful candidate a chance to work with a group of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to its customers. As the successful HGV Workshop Technician, you will report to the General Manager and be a key member of our team.
- Servicing and maintaining our modern fleet
- MOT Preparation
- 6, 8 and 10 weekly inspection checks of HGV vehicles and trailers
- Mechanical and Electrical repairs on vehicles
- Accurate and timely completion of inspection reports
- Any other tasks associated with the repair and maintenance of the vehicle fleet
Requirements:
- Hold an in-date C+E driving licence
- Knowledge of working on Scania, DAF and Mercedes tractor units (desirable)
- Tail lift qualified or experience working with tail lifts (advantageous, but not essential as training can be provided)
Training programs can be offered in order to increase your skill levels.
Pay: From £21.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £23.00 per hour Saturday
