We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our supportive team in Stowmarket. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive technology and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Working with modern equipment and tools, you will gain hands-on experience maintaining and repairing a wide variety of makes and models.

The Role:

  • Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and mechanical repairs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Communicate effectively with the workshop team to ensure an efficient workflow.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred, but experience is valued).
  • Ideally proficient in vehicle diagnostics and repair techniques across all makes and models.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems (engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a team-player attitude.
  • An MOT Tester licence is a bonus but is in no way essential.

Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
  • Saturdays: 8:00am – 12:30pm (Every other week)
