The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Tewkesbury area. We are looking for HGV Drivers to join the team.
- Roles Available: HGV Class 1, HGV Class 2
- Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, Start Time: 08:00am starts
- Pay Rate: £15.36 per hour PAYE
- Location: Tewkesbury, GL20
- Job Type: Ongoing
The role: Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels. 15-25 bulk deliveries and collections on return. Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the roll cages from the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck. Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (Cat C/C&E).
- 6 months experience required.
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
